Experience a delightfully creamy tea without any bitterness. This easy-to-make, flavor-packed latte boasts a bubbly froth from the whisked Matcha and a pale green hue.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups plain sweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 oz (15g) white chocolate
  • 2 tsp Matcha powder, plus extra for garnish
  • 1/2 cup water heated to 175°F (80°C)

Equipment:

  • Saucepan

  1. Heat the almond milk and white chocolate in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir the mixture constantly until it simmers and becomes creamy. Remove from heat and set aside.
  2. Whisk the Matcha powder and hot water in a bowl to form a thin paste.
  3. Add the hot milk and chocolate mixture to the Matcha paste. Whisk briskly with an electric hand whisk until foamy.
  4. Pour the mixture into two cups.

Matcha Oatmeal

Ingredients:

1 cup of water

1/2 cup of oats

1 teaspoon of matcha

Raspberries and/or blueberries

Coconut cream

1 teaspoon of sugar

  1. Bring water to a boil
  2. Add oats to the water if you like it creamy. If you like your oats with some texture, you can wait until the water comes to a full boil.
  3. Stir in the oats
  4. Turn down the heat and simmer for 10 minutes - a longer if you like it creamy
  5. Stir time to time to keep it from burning
  6. Add in the matcha - I recommend using a sifter to sift the matcha in.
  7. Mix in the matcha.
  8. One the matcha is mixed in, scoop the oatmeal into a bowl.
  9. Drizzle on the coconut cream (or other cream you may like)
  10. Add berries and sugar. Go ahead and add a teaspoon your favorite jelly if you don’t have any berries.
